For our penultimate Friday of the year we took 23 young people to the North Pole 'Winter Wonderland' on Parkers Piece in Cambridge. They had an opportunity to go on many of the fairground rides and make themselves very dizzy and eat some of the festive foods available. We then all headed to the ice rink for 45 minutes of skating, or for many desperately holding onto the edge of the rink for dear life. Fortunately there weren't too many falls and no one was injured, most of the young people got the hang of it and managed to skate a full lap of the rink without touching the edge.
We would like to thank Sawston Youth Group for lending us their minibus and The YMCA for letting us park there for free.
