School Transition Work

The transition from primary to secondary education can be challenging for young people. Therefore some of our work focuses on supporting them through this. Usually we will open up our earlier Friday group to year 6 from the summer term to allow them the opportunity to mix with some year 7 and 8 young people. Answering their questions about secondary school and ensuring their are people that they know before they move up.

We also work with local primary schools and are able to offer 1:1, small group or classroom based support to year 6 pupils where needed.
